Erne River Lodges are beautiful 4 star Scandinavian style self-catering lodges located on the banks of the River Erne close to Belturbet in County Cavan.
There are two bedrooms in the holiday home, both with en-suite facilities. Erne River Lodges can sleep up to six people comfortably with one double bed, two single beds and a bunk bed. Wood burning stoves, outdoor hot-tubs and full al-fresco dining facilities provide a relaxing end to a busy day outdoors.
While staying at Erne River Lodges you have direct access to the River Erne with an array of boating and fishing activities as well as water sports and swimming.
Have a look at the Belturbet Railway Museum or you might be in the area for the Berturbet Festival of the Erne.

Directions

Take the N3 through Belturbet. Left at the roundabout in the direction of Ballyconnell. Take a left approx 300 metre onwards and then left again at approx 400m ahead. Road ends at the Lodges.

Rooms

Lodges are two storey with open-plan ground floor.
On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with double sofa-bed), utility room and separate shower room (toilet, wash hand basin and electric shower).
LCD TV, DVD, stereo, surround sound and cable TV.
There are balconies front (covered) and rear offering river and forest views
The first floor has the two bedrooms. Master bedroom (king) with ensuite shower room (toilet, wash hand basin and double electric shower) and covered balcony. The second bedroom (twin beds or king).
Both bedrooms are fitted with LCD tv’s.
Oak flooring throughout the lodges.

The lodges come with all modern conveniences. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer.
For those with young children there is a travel-cot, stair-guard, high-chair and a selection of children’s DVDs.
Gold Shield electric central heating is supplemented by super-efficient wood burning stoves in the main living area.
Full range of al-fresco dining equipment incl. gas BBQ, gas patio-heater and outdoor furniture. 4 person outdoor hot-tub accessed from rear deck.

There is also horse-riding and excellent game angling nearby, as well as a host of official walking/cycling trails.
For the more adventurous, the ODD (Outdoors and Dirty) centre in nearby Ballyconnell offers endless hi-octane fun, including mud buggies and clay pigeon laser shooting.
