Lodge 12 of Erne River Lodge is a 4 star Scandinavian style self-catering lodge situated in Cornadarragh forest on the banks of the river Erne.

There are 2 double bedrooms, and a large sofa bed in the living area, the house can sleep up to 6 adults comfortably. There is a large open plan living area and kitchen, outside deck and dining area.

The lodge comes with direct access to the river Erne for fishing, boating/watersports & swimming. Championship golf course, horse-riding, trial-walking & Emerald star cruise line all nearby.

Directions

Take the N3 through Belturbet travelling north over the bridge and out of town. Take the 1st left at the roundabout dir Ballyconnell.

You will pass Staghall church on your left. Travel straight on for approx 300m. You will see a B&B on your right and the main road bends to the right. Take the left turn at the bend. Straight on for another 300 metres and  take the first left again and follow the road into Cornadarragh.

Once through the barrier turn immediately right towards the Lodges. Follow the lane down the hill and Lodge 12 is at the bottom on the left hand side.

There are 2 double bedrooms  (1 ensuite) with a further shower room on the ground floor. In addition there is a large double sofa bed in the living area and as such the house provides comfortable accommodation for 6 adults.

Cavan(Back to top)

Cavan is known as 'The Lake Country' offering tourist an array of outdoor sport and activities. One can enjoy a round of golf in one of the many courses, the most famous being the championship Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club.

For those who perfer doing something a bit more active why not hire a bike and cycle the Kingfisher Cycle Trail or take a walk exploring The Cavan Waym, The Burren or The Shannon Pot, the source of the River Shannon.

Belturbet

Belturbet is a lively and bustling town set on the River Erne. This is a great base for exploring the river and the Shannon-Erne Canal. The area is a magnet for anglers due to the wide variety of fishing here.

Belturbet also offers a range of traditional pubs, restaurants and nightly entertainment.
