We thought the staff were very lax in the bar. At lunch time we were left for ages before we could order. When my friend approched one waiter he just turned away and ignored her. We had a meal on the Saturday night and were left with dirty dishes on the table for ages nobody came near us until we startd clearing up the plates ourselves. They didnt seem too bothered when we complained. Otherwise the hotel was lovely the spa was beautiful and the staff were very nice there. The service in the bar would put me off going back again.
The Mount Wolseley Hotel was fabolous. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was entertainment in the bar. Rooms were very spacious and modern. I would definately return and I would reccommend it to anyone that would like a nice break away in a fabulous hotel.
The spa was disappointing. I didn't have any treatments I just wanted to use the water circuit. One of the jets didn't work and the jacuzzi was a joke!!!. The whole area is very small, more that four people would be a crowd. I have used spa circuits abroad and could spend 2 hours enjoying the features provided but the experience in the Mount Wolseley was over in 15 minutes and it cost €15. This was the only downside to my stay and it wouldn't stop me going back. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are helpful and efficent. The breakfast was excellent, a great selection was available.
A fantastic place to stay and unbelievable value, got the biggest suprise of my life when I drove in and saw the golf course and the Hotel, had to check if i was in the right place this Hotel is luxury for the ordinary person. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are fantastic and the price is so reasonable thought Goireland made a mistake in my booking Have to come back again thanks Mount Wolseley for everything!
The hotel staff were extremely good.Very helpful and friendly.The food was delicious and the waiters and waitresses were so professional.I couldn`t recommend it highly enough.The management could consider using fairtrade tea and coffee!
Slow service for food in Aaron Lounge, floor staff slow in taking orders and cleaning up- while it was relatively busy most other places could have handled these issues a lot better. Service in Fredericks Restaurant very good but pricey overall. Hotel is a little remote from Tullow town centre, no footpath to town.
