Rally of the Lakes Killarney 2008

The 'Rally of the Lakes' is one of the biggest and best car rallies in Ireland each year and draws thousands of spectators from near and far. If you don't have you Killarney accommodation booked already, now is your chance to grab the last remaining beds in town for this busy weekend!

The annual Rally of the Lakes takes place each year on the May bank holiday weekend, which falls on the 2nd to the 5th of May this year.

The main event of the weekend is the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, which attracts the most talented rally drivers from north and south of the border. The Rally of the Lakes has to have one of the most scenic routes in the world, with stages meandering through Moll's Gap and around the stunning lakes of Killarney. The Historic Rally of the Lakes and the Junior Rally of the Lakes also take place throughout the weekend. The headquarters of the event is at the Gleneagle Hotel on the Muckross Road.

hi,is it possible to book a cottage/house in Killarney for 2nd - 5th may, rather than the saturday-saturday periods given? We are a group of 8.Regards,Ali
