Flights into County Kerry arrive at Kerry Regional Airport, which is conveniently located in the heart of the county, just outside the village of Farranfore. Kerry is famous the world over for breathtaking scenery, its many tourist attractions, and there's so much for you, the tourist to see and do. Kerry Airport, the gateway to the beautiful county, is located at the midway point between Killarney and Tralee. The airport is close to the world-renowned Ring of Kerry and it's less than an hour from the Dingle Peninsula with no end of tourist attractions, from beaches to stunning mountain scenery.

Kerry Airport has progressed considerably since the first flight schedule was co-ordinated in 1979. The compact size of the airport allows passengers swift and easy access to all facilities in all areas of the airport. The Airport has a fully licensed restaurant and gift shop. Other facilities include a bureau de change, information desks and an ATM machine.

The airport is located on the N23, with easy access to all the main county towns. To get to Killarney and Cork from Farranfore, take the N22 Road. To Dingle, take the N70 to Castlemaine and then the N86 to Dingle. To Tralee, take the N22 east to Tralee. To Limerick and Dublin take the N21 road.

You can also travel by bus directly to Killarney, Tralee, Cork, Waterford and Limerick from here. A few minutes away in Farranfore Village, bus services are available to Cork city and county, as well as many other locations.

There are flights to Kerry Airport from three major airports in the United Kingdom.
London Stansted Airport operates a daily service to Kerry Airport. Your flight journey to Kerry will take appoximately 1.5 hours from Stansted and it's via Ryanair. Check out their website for flight times.

London-Luton Airport operates a route to Kerry via Ryanair and the flight time is again approximately 1.5 hours.

Manchester Airport operates a flight to Kerry Airport. Flight time is approximately 1.5 hours. This service is operated by Aer Arann, check out their timetable for flight details.

Flights to Kerry from Mainland Europe…

Kerry Airport services three routes from Germany and France. These are:
Frankfurt Hahn Airport, which is located around 124 km from Frankfurt in Germany (there is an excellent bus service to/from Frankfurt city centre). There's a daily flight service, via Ryanair, from Frankfurt Hahn Airport to Kerry Airport and the flight duration is about 2 hours.

Grenoble Airport operates flights to Kerry Airport during the summer months. Grenoble Airport is situated 45 km from Grenoble and 85 km from Lyon. Again the service is operated by Ryanair.

Lorient Airport offers flights to Kerry Airport during the summer months. This service is operated by Aer Arann.

Summer flights to Kerry are also offered by Falcon Holidays. The holiday destination served from Kerry is Palma in Majorca.
