Cricket has been called a way of life, a philosophy of sorts, if you will. It is a complex game; one of which involves skill and patience.

Description
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game with 11 players on each team. It is usually played on turf or some sort of artificial surface like turf. The ground can be any shape and the full playing area is contained within a defined boundary line, at least 75 yards from the playing pitch. The object of the game is to score runs. WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR? Shirt, trousers, a cap or sun hat, footwear, a short and long-sleeved sweater are really the minimum clothes you need. You will also need balls, protective equipment, and wicket-keeping equipment. Protective equipment includes pads, which should not be too bulky but thick enough to protect your knees and shins and thighs. The best ones have strips of sponge or rubber inside the pad to provide a cushion between you and the pad when the ball strikes it. Gloves are usually worn and helmets as well.
