On 17th January 1997, Belfast's magnificent Stg 32 million Waterfront Hall opened for business. It was five years in the design, planning and building, but the city can now take real pride in this splendid, glass fronted, circular pleasure dome, which, at night appears to float on the River Lagan on whose bank it stands. Facilities include a main auditorium, BT Studio, 16 meeting rooms, two bar areas and a restaurant.

This 220 seat Proscenium Arch Theatre offers a wide variety of dramatic performances, including a large amount of local community theatre as well as professional companies.

Located within the historic Ulster Hall (1862). Very limited wheelchair access as the theatre is on the 2nd floor, reached only by stairs or the Ulster Hall's chair lift....
