Belfast City
Belfast City is modelled on the cities of Liverpool and Manchester, which were heavily industrial cities during the reign of Queen Victoria. Most of it's most famous sights are Victorian. The Albert Memorial Clock, which was erected in 1870 is one of the more familiar landmarks, which was erected in honour of Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, who died suddenly, leaving his disconsolate wife, who mourned him for over fifty years! Another Victorian building which should not be missed, is the beautiful, but incomplete, St. Anne's Cathedral which commenced building in 1899, but was completed on a piecemeal basis.

Sir Edward Carson, Northern Unionist Leader is buried there. The Crown Liquor Saloon is a fantastic Victorian Pub, which still retains the original mirrors, tiles and panelling, and still operates as a pub serving drinks and food, and is still lit by gas!
