Cahersiveen Celtic Music Festival 2008

The Cahersiveen Celtic Music Festival is a family festival celebrating all things Irish, with traditional Irish music concerts & sessions, various workshops, set dancing (a form of Irish dancing), busking competitions, street entertainment, a fireworks display, a dancy dress competition, kids olympics, a deep sea angling competition and much more. It started in 1995, was a huge success, and has been growing from strength to strength ever since. The Rose of Tralee Festival 2008

Much more than a beauty pageant, the Rose Of Tralee Festival is very much an institution and is most definitely a part of Irish culture. Cork Jazz Festival 2008

Ireland's largest jazz event, the Guinness Jazz Festival, will take place in Cork for four days over the October Bank Holiday Weekend, promising a top line-up of jazz musicians.
